Harney & Sons RMS Titanic Blend, Tin of 20 Sachets

Harney & Sons created RMS Titanic Blend as a tribute to the tragedy and heroism of A Night to Remember. P. H. Nargeolet, a diver from the French exploratory group at Woods Hole in Massachusetts, inspired John Harney to develop a commemorative tea to honor the centenary of those who perished when the Titanic sank. This special blend reflects the quality of tea served during that historic voyage. It features Chinese Keemun, one of the last teas from China that the British still consumed in 1912. By that time, they had mostly transitioned to black teas from Assam, India, and Ceylon. The blend also includes Formosa Oolong, which gained popularity in both the UK and the US through an enterprising Brit. This tea blend would have been familiar to tea aficionados of that era. A portion of the sales from RMS Titanic Blend will be donated to The Ocean Conservancy, an organization dedicated to preserving the health of our planet's oceans. This tea not only offers a delightful experience but also serves as a reminder of history.
