Tokoname-yaki 常滑焼 is among Japan's six oldest kilns, with a pottery-making history spanning over 1000 years. Located in the Aichi prefecture, Tokoname is renowned for its traditional ceramic artistry, originating from one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan.
