Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House
In 1857, A. Bronson Alcott acquired 12 acres of land in Concord, MA, which included a dilapidated house dating back to the mid-1600s along with its outbuildings. The property featured an extraordinary apple orchard that captivated Mr. Alcott, who regarded apples as the most perfect food. Consequently, he named this residence "Orchard House."
After relocating nearly two dozen times over three decades, the Alcotts finally established their permanent home. Following extensive renovations, they enjoyed residing there for 20 years. Orchard House is especially renowned for being the place where Louisa May Alcott penned her cherished novel Little Women in 1868, using a desk crafted by her father.
Harney & Sons presents this decorative, limited edition tea, thoughtfully created for the release of the 2019 adaptation of Little Women.
Each tin contains 20 tea sachets.
Each sachet brews one 12 oz. cup of tea.
Customers are encouraged to recycle the tin or explore creative ways to repurpose it!
